Hillsborough Twp Station 37 Fire

On Wednesday members of Station 37 and Station 36 Flagtown Fire/Rescue - Hillsborough Volunteer Fire Co. #1 were honored along with several other emergency service personnel for their heroic efforts in 2021. This is a prestigious honor placed upon our fighters who were humbled to accept the recognition. We encourage you to read all of the acts of valor by all of the recipients.

At 5:15pm Station 37 along with the Hillsborough Fire District was dispatched to the 3 vehicle MVC at Amwell Rd. & East Mountain with entrapment. Prior to FD arrival all occupants self extricated from their vehicles. Units on scene secured the power to the vehicles and contained fluid spills.

This evening Station 37 had its monthly drill night at which time MVC victim extrication, lifting and stabilization was to be conducted. Shortly after starting the drill, Station 37 was requested to respond into Montgomery Township on the 2nd Alarm for a residential structure fire. Upon arrival Chief 37 was assigned Charlie Side Operations Chief. Tower Ladder 37 was subsequently requested to cover Montgomery Township with additional mutual companies.
