Engine 37

Pierce Dash - 1998

Engine 37 is our secondary engine and is rotated to primary on a quarterly basis. Engine 37 has a 750-gallon water tank and a 35-gallon foam tank. It can pump 2000 gpm (gallons per minute) and has seating for six firefighters.

Tanker 37

Pierce Enforcer - 2019

Tanker 37 is our primary engine and is first-due for all structure fires as well as mutual aid requests. It has a 2900-gallon water tank and can pump 2000 gpm (gallons per minute). The pump-tanker has seating for six firefighters.

Tower Ladder 37

Tower Ladder 37

Pierce - 2018

Tower 37 is the only platform ladder in Hillsborough Twp. The Tower often responds on mutual aid requests to neighboring communities. It has a 100-foot tower ladder with two monitors mounted on the bucket in addition to carrying a limited amount of water. The truck seats six firefighters.

Heavy Rescue 37

Heavy Rescue 37

Pierce - 2009

Heavy Rescue 37 is our full-sized heavy rescue unit for the township. The rescue allows for seating of 6 firefighters.

Brush 37

Brush 37

Ford F-350 - 2017

Brush 37 is our off-road brush and wildland firefighting apparatus. The truck carries a compliment of additional hand tools specifically for wildland and brush fires, a chain saw, water vests/cans and a bumper mounted winch. The truck has seating for a maximum of 5 firefighters.

Rehab 37

Rehab 37

Ford Ambulance - 2015

Rehab 37 is the district rehabilitation vehicle. Rehab 37 carries extra water, fans, chairs and rehab equipment.

Car 37

Car 37 is the Chief's Incident Command vehicle.

  • Seating for 5 personnel
  • Full Incident Command System (ICS) board
  • VHF and UHF mobile radios
  • Dry Chem and Water Extinguishers
  • Thermal Imaging Camera

Car 37-2

Chevrolet Suburban - 2002

Car 372 is the former Chief's Incident Command vehicle. As of August 2013, Car 372 will be utilized mainly by the Deputy Chief.

As a backup command vehicle to Car 37, Car 372 contains most the same tools and information.

Marine 37

Marine 37 is a single engine outboard rescue boat featuring a Mercury 30hp motor on a single-axle trailer. It is towable by the command vehicles, Brush 37 and Rehab 37.

Please be advised that there is a large volume of smoke coming into the area due to the wildfires in Canada. This is happening all over the State of New Jersey and the Northeast.

Also the New Jersey Forest Fire Service has indicated Very High Fire Danger today and Stage 3 campfire restrictions are in place.
