Hillsborough Township Volunteer Fire Company #2 is an all-volunteer organization based out of southern Somerset County, NJ. At almost 50 members strong, our fire department is one of three in the township (and one under contract) which make up the Hillsborough Fire District. Running 650-700 calls a year, we provide fire suppression, extrication, rope rescue and water/land rescue services to the residents of Hillsborough Township and beyond.
Our 7-bay station is located in the heart of Hillsborough at 375 Route 206 across from the TD Bank, with easy access to both the new bypass and our neighboring juristictions on the north, east and south ends of the township. Our primary response area is both the largest and most-populated encompassing almost all the commercial and multi-family residential occupancies within the township.
